first I would like to introduce myself. I am new to the board and I have 2005 sonic blue mustang GT and 1998 escort zx2 that is my daily driver. This morning the escort did not want to start, sounds like a starter to me.

Could somebody please help me out and let me know how difficult this is change and what tools are required.

Also have a problem where the engine temp is running very hot. There does not appear to be any white smoke from the exhaust and the coolent level is full so i dont think this is a head problem. I believe it just needs to have the thermostat replaced. Again I would appreciate if somebody could let me know how difficult this is to change and what tools may be required.
