Anyone heard of people doing this? I picked up a Engine from a storage buy that was being built by someone that was doing what looks like a very nice job of this before they stopped for some reason. Alls I know is the pistons in it are TRW-2441F30 which are Chevy 327/350 dished pistons for a blower or s/c. They are on Ford rods so someone had to machine these to fit the bigger pin diameter. It has 351W heads from 1970 that have been ported nice and thats as far as they got. Is this something thats done by some for a reason or was this just one individuals idea for performance reasons on his own.[sm=nerd.gif]

i actually have a buddy that did this. he had the machine the pistons like you said. i didnt really understand though. hes a chevy man and hates ford, but he was using a ford engine. funny thing is that he sold it to someone that was building up a dodge so that dodge will be a mutt.
