Sabretooth 09-01-2005, 01:44 PM Them things ain't street legal up here in Canada...something about not meeting safety standards or something...this makes me sad and angry at the same time...[sm=boosign.gif][sm=headbang.gif] techmanbd 09-01-2005, 03:02 PM I remember they had a major recall. Something about thye front suspension breaking if I remember correctly. Patrick 10-11-2005, 09:53 PM i believe that it was something like the bal joints, or possibly a weld around the ball joints were failing under stress caused by high speeds Obsol3te 04-05-2006, 07:02 PM No.. It was actually a problem they found on a test car. Believe it was one of the Rear control arms had a crack in it. Don't think there were any problems with the production cars, but they recalled them anyways. drw0392 05-25-2006, 02:48 AM They actually drove to the owners of the GT and replaced the control arm with a beautiful billet replacement. (According to Car and Driver, Ford came out and fixed Jay Leno's GT) ORIGINAL: Obsol3te No.. It was actually a problem they found on a test car.
