03 sporttrack rear satety lock

i have an 03 explorer sporttrack n the passenger rear door saftey lock wont disengauge from the lock position.the drivers side will disengauge.any ideas will be helpfull.

sounds like its rusted try wd if its the saftey lock on the inside door lift it with a screwdriver
