Which brand is better for fuel filters, SP, PCV valve??
I am in need of a tune up for my 1996 ford escort to help its low FE . I went to local Kragen today and they carry only Fram fuel filters - but my car manual recommends motorcraft and mechanics tell me to with Wix. Similarly for PCV valve, car manual recommends motorcraft, and Kragen had Fram PCV valve. I cant decide which brand should I choose?
As for spark plugs
, Kragen store rep said Autolight Extra Performance is good SP for my car. I dont want top-of-the-line-but-expensive parts for my 13YO car. I just want something thats not too expensive, and still is reliable as well as gives good performance and FE . What brand would you guys recommend for these items?
