View Full Version : Acetone , added to your fuel ? Ramrod48 08-31-2005, 09:33 AM Hey Folks : heres a web site I stumbled across, Wanted to see what kinda feed back I could get http://pesn.com/2005/03/17/6900069_Acetone/ cctxfish 08-31-2005, 02:21 PM I say BS Ramrod, you worked on a fleet of cars and trucks. Did you ever have natural gas vehicles? Ramrod48 08-31-2005, 06:55 PM Yea we had 2 , I wasnt really impressed by them, Take off an accelration was a bit slow I felt, An then filing them up was a bit of a chore, However right now wih cost of LP, I dont think you would see much savings. Oh yea we had to have the valves replaced, Something about them breaking other wise.Ive got a 125 gal propane tank on my house its like $325.00 to fill it rite now cctxfish 09-01-2005, 01:53 PM Yea, I worked on propane generaters. They're not to good, they get this build-up of gunck in the carb. As for the acetone in the tank, it may not hurt, but I don't think it will help.
