Ok, I realize posted something similar to this way back in May but that was 3 months ago so how many people on the forum have t-birds now?

i have a 1990 Thunderbird 35th anniversary Supercoupe. but i am trying to sell it at the moment. its in good working condition i just need a bigger vehicle for my daughters car seat.

No I don't own a T-bird, but I remember the 2.3L L4 turbo T-bird that could run in the 140mph range. I always want one when the first came out.

i currently have one, 1988 turbo coupe with minor modifications. 210k on the odo and purrs like a kitten till i go to wot. lol. then she screams like a banshee.

My 95 is my work car and goes 65 quite well,pretty scary @ 80 w/ the loose front end . Pulls the boat ok.

i have a 93 lx...200k and still doesnt leak any oil

I have a '97 LX w/4.6L and close to 150K miles that I've had since new, and before that I had a '95 that I leased. Both black, also. They are great all around cars.

When I first got it it had about 55k miles and would shut off @ 105mph w/ about 3k ish on the tach.Anyone got it near redline? @ what speed was it?

Also may be a parts car for my '96 Cougar...........if it gets hit.

[sm=nxsmile.gif]I own a 1990 Ford thunderbird which i got from my father in law as a gift with 42520 miles on it.
He hardley ever used it due to the fact that he isalso a residential superintendent like myself who works and live in the building. He would only use the car on his days off. And to this day i still have it parked in my garage
with my F-Explorer 2004 Eddie Bower. The car still runs great. I also moded a few things on the car to make it look hot. The miles on the Ford thunderbird is at 44576 miles.

Ive got an 88 sport, built 302, AOD, 2.73 traction lock.

Bought a new one in '97, the last year of the old design (in my opinion, much better looking than its replacement) . The black color was tough to keep looking spiffy, but it was a great car. Sold it in 2003 with 11,000 miles on it and got all my money back. Sometimes we get lucky.

I have a 1991 LX that my ex and I ordered brand new. We wanted a loaded car, silver with a grey cloth interior. The car has been garage kept since new, has 79,000 miles. One of her friends was driving it recently, and someone pulled in front of them and took the frontend out, but did not hurt the engine. I bought it back from the insurance company for $300.00. I want to take the drivetrain out and put it in a 61 or 62 Thunderbird.

Well, add another one! I bought a 62 Hardtop last weekend in Bakersfield. No engine or trans, so I will be installing the 5.0 / AOD in the 62 from the 91.

I'm kind of addicted to thunderbirds specialy super coupes I have 19 S/C's and 6 Lx's and my wife doesn't mind at all. It doesn't get any better than that

add another for Australia , 1966 Landau , bright blue metalic with white vinyl roof, 390 cid c6, wow what a great car , my kids have already done the split up, the youngest (5) put his hand up for this one............the daughters opted for the 1913 T Runabout and the 1926 T Tudor.

That is my 1997 Thunderbird LX Coupe. I bought it for 4000 Dollars (U.S.) and have been just having a great time with it over here in Korea. There are very few Muscle cars over here, so I get quite a few heads turning my way. I have been doing a little work on it like lower rocker arms and ball joints, But nothing major, the parts are reasonably priced and shipping has been painless so no complaints.

Wow not as many old classics as I thought there would be, I've got a 79 t-bird with 429 and c6 form a 69 mercury marquis, use it as my daily driver when my tranny isn't blown out of it.

I have a 93 LX, the sport/luxury mut. :D

Edit: maybe someone would happen to want to throw some spare parts for it my way :D Could pretty much use a tune up all over at this point, right wheel rattles if I drive over something more uneven than a piece of paper, and its got a weird little buzz going on now, also in the right wheel well :( Really love my tbird though :D

i have a red 88 t-bird with the 302. did "some" work to it and now it runs mid to low 12s in the qt mile :)

I just purchased a 95 LX w/4.9L needing to replace or repair drivers lower door hinge and stricker

I currently have a 1996 Cougar (sorry, that is as close as I have to a T-bird right now)
but I have also owned 2 1970 Thunderbirds, a 1977 T-bird, a 1978 T-bird (The 77 and 78 were my favorite cars) and also owned a 1986 Cougar.

I own a 97 Lx 3.8 with aprox. 150k miles runs great. But since I live in Ca. I have to go to a smog only station to get registered.Just a matter of time unlil I have to park it.:mad:

I am redoing a 95 LX-V8 that blew it's engine. I found a 5.0 HO engine that I am rebuilding which I believe will do it justice.

I own one. I just picked up a 1990 Super Coupe 35th Aniv. Edition. She only has 86,000 original miles and is completey loaded with the 5-speed. Honestly, it's a beautiful car.

I currently own a 94 T-Bird that I've had since '96. I love this car. Can't imagine driving anything else!:D

I have a 95 that I have had since 95. Seems to be leaking oil somewhere around the oil filter is there something common their that leaks? e-mail me if you know?
