Hi fellows, new here. I have several old Fords. My first car was a 1973 Gran Torino Sport that I still have today. I have almost completed a new engine for the car. I had a two bolt Cleveland block converted to a 4 bolt main. I used a 3.850 stroke crank (forged from SCAT) and their H-beam rods to make a 393C. I used 2V heads and had 4V valves installed, along with screw in studs and roller rockers. I am running a fairly mild solid lifter cam.
My trouble is finding a stall converter for the 1973 FMX tranny. TCI has one for up to 1969? They tell me the newer ones use a differnent spline on the input shaft? Does anyone know where I can buy a manufactured converter for this thing? I can have one built, but that is mega-bucks. Thank you for your help, I 'm glad I found this site. I'm enjoying it very much.
Thanks,
