I have a new Ford GT. My throttle pedal is super sensitive makes take-off from stops anything but smooth. how can I increase the resistance felt when the pedal is depressed.
your feedback would be most appreciated. Not able to drive the car under the present condition. RH

have you tried consulting your mechanic? it would be easy to fix it if he can see the problem. maybe it needs some adjustments.

That "anything but smooth" is the result of that thing right behind the seat, you know, the supercharged V8?!? Dang, well if you cant drive it, I'd be happy to drive her for you!

I just got my Mustang GT and it has the drive by wire system. From what I understand you can calibrate it. Turn the key into the on position(don't start the car). Push the gas pedal slowly down to the floor and then let go. Then turn the key off. Then start the car. Not sure if this works with the GT, but I would imagine it would be similar.

Adjustments are not allowed per government emission specs.
