what is the topspeed on a 93 econoline? i got a ticket saying i was doing 125 mph in the mail! i dont think my van will do 80. where can i look it up? gas powered 8 cylinder

I have a '94 Mustang GT, and it is only capable of 130mph from the factory. I'm not saying that the '93 Ecoline can't do 125mph, but...

If you did, it must have been out west where there are straight roads for hundreds of miles.:D

I'm not sure in any case it would be admisable in court. You may find a Ford engineer that was envolved in the design of the van BUT doubt he would/could get you off the hook.

You need a buttload of horsepower to get that hog over certain speeds. You are pushing a billboard around if you think about it. It may be impossible for the van to go that fast depending on engine size. Physics are a pretty exact on this.

My 93, speedo only goes to 90. never had it past that'
