hello everyone. I recently purchased a 2004 Mustang GT 40th Ann. I was wondering why this model did not come with the traction control, and also if anyone knows the quality of the transmission that are in the cars.

Traction control was an option on GT's but standard on the Mach 1, the auto transmission is good but the five speed is the best to have.

with 05 and up, Traction Control is now standard on all GT's and optional on the V6ers

My 03 GT has traction control with the auto tranny, no problems so far.

Traction control is pathetic, be glad to not have it
