i just pulled my radio out of my 03 excursion and when i put it back in all the features worked except for the 6 disc CD . i get a CD error when i try to access the CD feature. i can not eject the CDs either. is there a reset or somthing that needs to be done or something? thanks

Did you plug everything back in correctly? Sounds like something is disconnected. Try disconnecting the ground wire on the battery for a couple minutes to reset everything.

You may have bumped something a little too hard. Those units are extremely sensitive. Most of them have a sticker on the top of them that says "Scrap if dropped"

your cd mechanism is jammed and these are not cheap to repair I work for a audio shop here in florida and those at my cost are about $395.00 to refub entire unit at a flat rate fee.good luck,Tim

I have that problem now with my fav cds in there does any one know how to get the cds out so I can scrap this piece of junk.
