Because, if you're from Michigan, you're hip with the crowd.

We have two bridges in Brooklyn, one at each end of town and we also have two traffic lights. We also have MIS. Jim G.

Chiming in from Royal Oak in metro detroit. This is the center of the Dream Cruise held every year on the 3rd saturday in August. It's been going on since the mid 90's. It brings back memories of the 60's when we were out cruising Woodward and showing off our rides. It has grown to such proportions that we start a month early. If you don't mind crowds (1.5 million people along a 16 mile stretch) come on down and enjoy the thousands of classic/modified cars/trucks/specialty vehicles. Rent a hotel room and enjoy. I think there was one arrest but I could be wrong. You could even see some cars seen on TV. Last year I spotted a car done on the series 'Hard Shine'. Maybe this year something by Chip Foose could be cruising. You see a lot of older kids like me (60+) there bringing back fond memories as they look at all the cars on display. If you want one for yourself bring your check book and pen. There's a possibility that the one you wantedwill be here.

Oh yes don't forget MIS. I used to work for an automotive parts supplier of gaskets that sponsored one of the cars. Wife and I would get our credentials and wander all over. If it wasn't for the fact those guys were so busy we should have got all their autographs while we were in the pits.

I might have seen the sign on the highway on my way to Harrison. I remember seeing the Mt. Pleasant sign. I was going 15-20 over the limit to go get some cats/dogs from the pound there in Harrison. Come to find out a friend I made online lives/works in St. Louis. Told him I never seen the sign concentrating on the cops more than anything else.

I must have missed them and even after all the trips I made to Hillsdale to the animal shelter.
