I had my windows tinted in my 03 GT and the tint looks like **** across the top of the back window. Those little black bumps caused the tint to not stick to the window completely. I called the tint shop and was told that it is a defect in the car and there is nothing they can do about it. However I've seen mustangs with clean window tinting on the back window. What gives? Has any one else had this problem?[:@]

The same thing happened on my '04 but it is not a defect. Its called a Dot Matrix and the tint doesnt stick because its teflon. My tinter said it is common and simply used adhesive to stick the top. The color is different looking in from the outside because it doesnt fully touch the glass but its not that bad and it sticks up just fine. I have had no problems since it was reglued about 2 months ago.

I just had my 04 tinted as a christmas gift and the tint guy suggested that I get a piece of black vinyl to put back there.
It doesnt bother me my tint looks really good, and I didnt want to have to glue anything
