I had a leak in 1 of the bags, so I replace it. Kept having problems (rear end wouldn't stay up) so I wound up replacing both bags and the selnoids on them and the leveling sensor. Now if the car sits for a couple of hours or is parked unlevel (front lower than rear) the bags will deflate some. When I turn the key on, you can hear the pump kick in, then a "click" from the rear, but the bags will deflate - and won't re-inflate until they have been completely deflated - key switched off and back on twice, then they will inflate. They will stay up while your driving, and usually for several hours/day afterward. But if the bags ever deflate any at all - then you have to go thru the same senerio as above...

Any ideals??

Got a similar problem on a 99. I changed out a rear tire and found that I couldn't get the jack out. The suspension had deflated completely. No sound fron the air conmpressor. http://www.fordforum.com/micons/m10.gif
Where is the compressor located and what else should I check for ?
Thanks in advancehttp://www.fordforum.com/micons/m16.gif

First,, make sure the air ride/suspension switch on the L/H side of the trunk has been switched off..
