My dad has a 2000 F-350 and he is having a bunch of trouble with the breaks in the front. He has worked on them and worked on them and even took it to the ford garage and they still stick. Its gettin really bad mileage. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, it sound like the brake hoses going to the wheels are bad. The inner liner of the hose has torn away and is blocking the brake fluid from returning to the master cyliner. Fuild can get to the caliper but cant return easily, there will be no fuild leak out of the hose. This causes the brake to grab at all time. It causes the brake pads to go out premacherly, rotors to warp, and very bad gas mileage. Is easy to replace, just disconnect the hose at the brake calipers, and then the suspention. After replacement, just bleed the brakes.

Thanks, I'll suggest that. But wish me luck because he won't believe anything that is written on the internet. Unless of course its a site he went to.

GOOD LUCK........Don't forget that the heat caused by this can damage the seals of the calipers and warp the rotors. So get the rotors turned and rebuild the calipers.
