When I fill the car with gasoline now the needle goes past the full mark - extreme. Is there a way to fix this and how would I get to the gauge? thank you

[sm=welcomesign.gif]It sounds like it may be the sending unit.[hr]It is located in the tank.[hr]You will have to drop the gas tank to replace it.

Thank you for your help. I wasn't sure if it was the sending unit. Although it registers so far to the right on full, it does move to the left as the gas is used.
