My wife just bought me a '74 Bronco for my Christmas gift. It's a sweetheart! It needs some TLC, but it's in about as good of shape that you can find them in without already being restored. Came with a 4 barrel Holley carb and and Edelbrock intake.

One question about this vehicle:does anyone know if this truck needs to have the lead additive added to the gas?

Nice..I like the old Bronco's... They command some big bucks around here if restored.. Come to think about it,,,even un-restored..

Running lead additive certainly wouldn't hurt, but if the headshave been updated/remaned. with hard seats/valves the lead isn't needed, or if the heads haven't ever been pulled.. Most machine shops would/should have update the heads during a build unless it's a cost issue for the customer.. My 69 T/A is still runing the OEM valves/seats and the unleaded hasn't been an issue since it ran leaded fuels, nor does it run lead additive now.. If the heads/valves were to be ground, with no hard parts installed, then lead is a must tokeep the valves from burning.. But, you could error to the side of caution and use it....

Congrats on the new rig...

From what Hayapower said and from other sources of info I found that you can run either leaded or unleaded gasoline in this truck.

Thanks for the help, Hayapower.
