Hey I need some help with the wiring on the 99 windstar 3.8L alternator, I am converting my windstar from passenger to a work van. Im putting a second battery in the back and I have this Isolator but it needs to hook to the alternator to charge both batteries, But I dont know which wire is what, I've looked in my chilton manual, that was just a waste of time... there are 2 conections 1 looks like a main battery feed.. approx 8-10ga, the other is a connector that has 3 wires ( Orange/blue, Red / Blue, Purple) What do these wires do? Where do they go, and What the heck do I hook the isolator 2.
The Isolator is made by NOCO Inc, www.noco.biz (http://www.noco.biz) Its the ID90HP. Any help would be appreciated.
