Help!!!!!!
95 taurus has problem when it is warm and humid out only.
Will be driving along with no problem. Then when temp needle goes past the r in "normal" the car starts to run rough then shuts off. When this happens it may start for a very short time, seconds, then shuts off and not restart. I have checked for fuel line vapor locks. New plug wires new ignition moduale. I have had this problem for almost 2 years only during the summer. I have also removed the shroud around the fuel line relay. No help. Please, Please HELP US!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like the humidity of summer is letting moisture get into something like the fuel pump relay and cause it to short out or something similar to this. you might try replacing the relay with a new one and see what this does for you. also did you use some silicon dielectric grease on the boots for the new plug wires? this stuff is used to help seal out moisture which can make the electical connections act up. I don't know where it is on a Taurus, but my fuel pump relay on my 88 mustang is under the driver's seat so you might look for something under here that is loose also. you should also have an intertia switch in the trunk that will shut off the fuel pump in the event of a accident or very hard bump like hitting or jumping a curb, so you probably should check out this switch to to be sure moisture isn't getting into it and causing it to short and cut off the fuel pump.
