Does anyone know where I can get a brake booster. NAPA says it is only able to rebuild a used one that I have already. I dont have one!
I am trying to add Power brakes to my 1968 302 Fairlane. I would like to buy a new one preferably or get a used one to take to them to rebuild.
Thanks
Sam

Check out www.ssbrakes.com (http://www.ssbrakes.com) hey seem to have a conversion kit from drum to disc that shows a booster with it. I figure they would also sell just the booster if you needed it.

Wheelsup68 - Thanks for the suggestion!!
I called them and they do not sell a booster. Suprisingly, they offer the drum to disc conversion for non-power only. no boosters for my car.
Thanks anyway.

I'd look in local salvage yards. Many old parts lie around in backwoods places waiting for an owner. Also try looking online. Maybe try searching for a fairlane club and there click some links? Power brakes were likely a lot more available in those years so it shouldn't be too difficult to find I imagine.

Second thought - I just checked and you can still buy one. Try autozone.com and put in your car and search brake booster.
