i have a 1995 ford contour and it is giving us a little bit of a problem..... check engine light is on and i'm not sure where to plug into it at....could you please help me. i am sure that i could diagnois it myself if i knew where to plug into it at.... replaced the water pump in it and went to test drive it and it just died....not sure what the problem

I'll assume you refilled the antifreeze after putting in the pump. The connectors for code readers areUSUALLY located under the hood or under the drivers side of the dash.
