Default Sport Track 4.0L - Code does not read

This is a 2003 Sport Track with the 4.0L engine. Check engine light came on. Plugged in readers (AutoZone and my neighbor). Autozone could not get a reading. My neighbor was able to get a message "Er Pr" on his. The light about the plug blinks while the reader is connected.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Chris
