Default Split mirrors, can they be replaced?

Good morning all. And thanks for allowing me to visit.

I am a loyal E series owner and just recently purchased a 2006 E250. Great van, but I have one major peeve.

Those split mirrors on the doors are really difficult to use for me. Is there any way to replace them with a single mirror, then I can put in my blindspot mirrors? I have a hard time backing up into spots with this van, whereas I never have the trouble with my other 2.

In fact, one of my employees refuses to drive it for that reason, unless I acknowledge this beforehand so he is not liable for any damage caused.

Anyone have any suggestions? If so, part numbers and location to purchase would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
