Default k&n vs cold air intakes

i have an 06 f350 6.0. i am looking at an k&n air intake. what are the best types of cold air intakes for the 6.0.

i put an airaid on mine. it works great...just a pain in the ass to get the stock box out and this in. took about an hour to do. the intake adds a little more power and better sound coming from engine compartment. mileage didn't really go up a bunch. maybe 1 mpg. get an intake elbow while you're at it and replace that at the same time. smoother air flow.
