Hello every one I'm hoping to find the answer to my question on this Forum, Ive seen it posted on other forums but never a resolve to it, so here it is. I own a 2003 Escape V6 with 191,000 km on it. The problem that I'm having is that it is very hard to start on occasion. There seems to be no pattern as to when it will be hard to start, but it will turn over for a long period of time before it starts. I have actually killed the battery trying to start the car. It usally happens after the car has been driven for awhile and turned off for a short period of time, like going into a store, and then trying to start to start it again. But it has happened at other times also. I have changed the IAC, fuel pump, fuel filter, ECT, fuel pulse regulator, spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body. None of this has helped, does anyone have any insight into this problem? thanks for your time
