Just bought a brand new ford focus zetec-s and I'm getting a strange squeaking and creaking when I go up and down bumps! I have now established that it's the rubber seals on the passanger side front and back, is there any way to stop this? I feel to embarresed to take it back to the dealer over squeaking trim!

If it is brand new take it back. That is what warranties are for. Mine did the same thing and they had to remove it and replace the trim before it stopped.
we have a ford focus '07 zetec sedan auto. after getting the 45k km maintenance, we started to hear squeaking/rattling from the back somewhere in the cabin.
initially we thought it was the back right door, so they replaced an arm part from the door. yesterday i had time finally to just do a sound check on where the squeaking is coming from. found out it was in the back right - where the cushion meets a persons back. its clearly the mechanism in the hooking/locking to the bracket screwed to the frame of the car.
i'm reluctant to take it back to the ford dealership since its so freakin inconvenient leaving it there almost the whole day! WD40 sprayed in the area just even a little bit has stopped making it squeak altogether.
