Default hesitating when stepping on gas

hello. i bought a 96 ranger yesterday, and when i leave a traffic light or stop sign i have a hesitation on the motor.. when i park the truck and rev up the engine it almost seems like its sucking in way to much air. even when i really get up on the gas it bogs out then slowly gets upto speed the truck idles fine...truck has the 4.0L engine

here is a list of things i have done so far. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much

plugs and wires
coil pack
sprayed mass airflow sensor with electrical cleaner or contact cleaner
