New here, I have a 94 t-bird (love my baby) and it's developed car cancer (rust). I have owned the car since 96, know every mile but the first 7,000. I am debating on fixing him up or replacing him with a fusion. Let me state again, I LOVE THIS CAR, but if I have it painted and the rust fixed, will it last another 10-15 years. I am not sure that the newer models will hold up as well as my boy has. I know I can get it fixed and I know it has the potential to eventually become a classic. I have all (Yes ALL) of my service records and know that the engine is sound. (gotta love that V8).
I expect it to cost between $5-$10,000 to do it right (Which is the cost of a good used car). So which should I do? I can't decide and just need to bounce the pro's and con's off others.
