Have a 2002 Taurus with the standard 3.0L....Alternator bad and was going to go to the salvage yard, but they only have 1 2002, then a bunch of 98 and 99 models. If there is no alternator in the 2002 model, would an alternator from a 98 or 99 with a standard 3.0 work in my 2002? Thanks for the input....
