I have a 1996 escort with a 92 engine. works fine till now since its leaking oil. can you tell me what part this is so I can get a new one to seal it? this is next to the starter.

That's the oil presure sending unit. It is what sends the signal to the oil presure light on the dash if the oil presure is low. I haven't bought one in several years, but they are not very expensive.
