Default 2000 Taurus ~weird~ electical issues. Help?!

Ok. So, my boyfriend's car has been LOTS of trouble since day one. Lots of hesitation issues, but nothing so bad that it's caused us to have to take it to the actual dealership. Well, up until this past week. It wouldn't start one night after he got off work. After about 3 hours of tinkering with it, he got it to start and got it home. The next day, it started fine and he got it to work. On the way home from work, it stalled out at a red light. Our neighbor was half way there to tow him home, but it randomly started.

Once he got it home, it was doing very strange things. It does the "ding ding ding" sound when he presses the brake with NO key in the ignition. It also "dings" when he tries to pop the trunk. He can crank it all day long, but it just won't start. The last time he was able to get the car to start was the following day. He took it to AutoZone to get them to scan it. Everything checked out fine. However, it wouldn't start there in the parking lot.

We got it towed to the dealership here in Metiarie, LA. They said they couldn't check any of the elecrtical problems until they replaced the fuel pump and filter (which, by the way was going to be $1200) simply because they weren't getting a good reading on the pump itself. They said they would have to do all that before they could fix the actual problem (which they still didn't know what the actual PROBLEM is). My boyfriend knows a good deal about cars, and was pretty pissed off that they weren't going to even check anything unless they replaced the fuel pump and filter, to which they literally said "if you went to the dr. and he told you what was wrong with you, you wouldn't tell him he was wrong" O_o

Anyway, the car is here at the house (we didn't allow the dealership to repair/replace anything). We have tried replacing the GEM module as well as checking all the wires and wiring harnesses just to make sure there wasn't anything rubbed wrong. We've checked the PATS system, too. Nothing. At the moment, he's getting a scan tool to try and check the computer system for specific problems.

We are LOST! Does anybody have ANY suggestions?!

Default 2000 Taurus weird electical issues Help

When I went to fill up yesterday I heard all the gas coming out the bottom of my motor, I found it to be the host on top of the Regulator is leaking out all the NG? The hose just goes from the regulator to the bottom of the motor without connecting to anything. Anybody know what this means? I just replaced the regulator last year because of another problem. Its on a 02 F-150 Bi-fuel.

Thanks in advance
