Default Multiple misfire

Had autozone plug in their computer and it said multiple cylinder misfire and gass cap/vacume seal problem (cant remember the exact terms).

Check engine light is on (i have had it randomly go off twice for an hour or 2 over the last month).

I am thinking it is some sort of lose connection somewhere because the first time the light went off it was after I replaced my motor mount and the second time it went off I was hitting the break real hard to try to mix up the fuel injector cleaner I had just put in the tank

engine only misses at 1300-1500 rpms. When stepping on the gas hard there is a loud misfire from the front. I have replaced the front two O2 sensors and that did not fix it.

where should I start????

I am sure there is a long list of things that I will need to check. I would prefer not to spend hundreds of dollars replacing things if it is just a loose connection or cracked hose....

thanks so much for the help!!!

What year and engine are we working on? When was the last time the car was tuned up? ( including fuel and air filters).

I would invest in a complete tune up first.

Do it yourself if you are so inclined. Just use Motorcraft ignition parts. Any shop ytou can trust would be happy to do it for you. It is not necessary to go to the dealer unless you just want to.

Default Multiple misfire

weird that there are 2 codes for the same thing.I get code p1300 random misfireanyone know the difference between the two?It sounds like your car has a fuel issue since youve dealt with the spark side of things.
