How do I hook up a system in my taurus? I Have a set of tems and an amp. i want a cd changer, but i dont know what all i need?

"set of tems", What is that? is that supposed to be Tens? Are you also replacing the Head Unit(HU)? The CD changer you get should come with all that you need. If you use the factory HU and has cd controls, you may want to check here http://www.pie.net/ to see if they have an interface to go with your vehicle. I am assuming you want this to be Bass.

For the amp. You can get a Kit from Pepboys for power. Comes with Power cable with Fuse holder. That will be installed under the hood not to exceed 3 feet from the battery. It will have the ground cable and the ACC wire. A blue wire about 22 or 20 AWG.
I would get the 8 AWG kit. If you use the factory HU then you will need to get something like this.

If you get an aftermarket, which I highly recommend to get better sound, then get one with 3 preset out, one will be for sub wolfer and you would just need long enough RCA patch cable. ANd then all you buy is an adapter kit to fit where the old stereo was in and a wire kit that plugs into the harness. Plus you can get a CD Changer that goes with what brand you get and will be compatible and it just plugs straight into the HU.
