I start by washing then drying. moving on to the wax, I use meguiar's NXT Tech wax with a micro fiber applicator pad and romoval towel. then that is followed up by Meguiar's NXT glass cleaner. Next up is armoralling the wheels. Then Meguiar's Hot shine tire coating to give the tires the wet look. then finish up with meguiar's exterior trim detaier and the NXT speed detailer which helps to get off that little bit of dust that may have been left behind. I also find that clay baring the exterior at least 1 to 2 times a year with any generic brand helps alot to get the deepdown dirt and helps to bring up the original shine.

Yeah i looked around the market for care care products and found meguiar's to be the best bang for your buck. however u can skimp on glass cleaner and tire care if u dont mind streaks and such. also try to stay towards liquid wax's because its less friction on the clear coat which can cause dammage. But if you are going to try to conceal scratches then paste is the way to go, if ya want the shine then go liquid.

as far as orbital or hand. do everything hand is my recomendation because orbitals have a tendency to romove paint little by little if you dont do it right. so if you are starting out get a good wax and microfiber towel and that should hold ya till you can get the rest.

i am the person that the neighbors probably get tired of seeing washing their vehicle. i wash it once or twice a week. i always have the same routine-a 2 1/2 to 3 hour wash job. I always start by Armoralling ALL plastic on the inside. Then i vacuum it with a shopvac, everything, sometimes take out seats. Then i get out my Meguire's car wash (suds really well) i rinse the entire vehicle, and then i wash one panel at a time with a soft lamb's hair mitten. i then spray the best tire cleaner in the world on to the tires (i found a product that only cost $1, and it cleans ANYTHING. it is called AWSOME.I let the product sit a few seconds and i then take a green scotch pad to the white letters and the tire, follow that with a nice brush on the tires too. Then i take my mitten and clean my chrome mags. After i clean the entire vehicle, i take two microfiber towels and dry it, wheels too. Then i take out the Meguire's Wax (i use the red can), and i wax it all by hand, then i follow that up with another microfiber towel. I then get out the window cleaner and clean windows inside and out. I then take out the Armorall and detail the outside, and walah, im done and the Danger Rager looks as beautiful as ever.

I used Meguiar's NXT on my 2000 Jag, but before I put on the polish I would use a clay bar, sure helps get rid of the grit ETC. then I would apply the polish, It sure gives a deep shine. Takes a bit of time, but well worth it.
I'll be doing the same to my F350 soon, probably will be an all day afair with that.

I use Mequiars Gold Class products. Iuse the liquidwax by hand about three to four times a year. My vehicles don't have any swirl marks and feel like glass. If you wash regularly with the Mequiars Gold Class carwash, the wax seems to last a long time. The water always beads up, even if it has been four months between wax jobs. That is my experience in using the Mequiars products. I use a few microfiber cloths to remove the wax, changing toa fresh one before it gets to much wax residue onit.

i find that most of the top (meguiars, mothers, etc.) car waxes work about the same...but what seems to really make the car look good, is to use a "clay bar" to remove contaminants within the paint just after washing your vehicle. i think mothers provides a pretty good clay bar product with spray. and then apply wax to your vehicle (preferrably with an orbital)...and then after the wax has dried, i like to remove the wax with the orbital as well (obviously with clean bonnets). may be a little excessive, but seems to work well and keeps me from getting exhuasted with doing it by hand (im old

I use Adam's Polishes and have for a few years now. I've tried just about every other product on the market but Adam's works best for me. I do all my detailing by hand. There Carnuba wax is truely awesome.
