Default 06; Old Police Interceptor; P2106 Code Problem.

I have an 06 Crown Victoria 4 Door Sedan with a V8 Engine. It's an old Police Interceptor and I got 204,500km on it. My Engine Light came on the other Day and I took an OBD Scanner to it and I have gotten the Code of P2106. Could Someone tell Me as to what this Code means and what could be the possible solution in order to get rid of it for good? That way I have a good idea as to what I am looking at. Thanks in advance.

I believe that is a code related to your intake and throttle system. Cheap easy fix may be to take some throttle body cleaner and clean some of the carbon off the throttle plate and out of the throttle body. You may have throttle position sensor putting of this code due to the condition mentioned above.

P2160 - throttle actuator control (tac) system forced limited power
There is a bulletin out for this year to check the air cleaner assembly to make sure it is not warped and secured properly. If everything checks out Replace the THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY. Have seen it plenty of times.

I reset the Engine Light just Yesterday so I'm hoping that it will no longer come back. FordLifeSaver; I took the advice that You gave to Me and I replaced the Throttle Body Assembly. Bren611; I'd like to say thank you for the advice that You had given Me as well. It doesn't hurt every once an awhile to clean out the actual throttle body itself with throttle body cleaner an a small soft toothbrush. Thanks to the both for You for helping Me out and hopefully this is the solution to My problem.
