2002 Crown Vic Heater Core Replacement?

Default 2002 Crown Vic Heater Core Replacement?
I have read that someone cut the heater core box to replace the heater core instead of removing the dash. But there were no pictures or description. Anyone seen this method before? Is this even feasible?
