2004 Mercury Marquis ETC - No A/C thru vents
Just bought a used 2004 Mercury Marquis 75k miles.
Engine and Transmission running smoothly. The heat and vent settings work fine when activated in the ETC console. So does the defroster. I get air through the vents, or the floor or the defroster outlets.
However, when I went to test the A/C by pressing either Normal A/C or MAX A/C no air whatsover blows from the vents no matter what fan setting I use.
Is the compressor synchronized to outside temperature? Right now it is 45 degrees outside.
I also did a system diagnostic with the ETC and received a full display message with 888 in the center.
Any thoughts or solutions? Thanks
