92 cv rear suspension/fuel gauge problem
my buddy has a 92 vic with 177k on it. he noticed the other day that one of the rearbags was dry rotted and leaking air slowly. i told him that it would probably be a better idea to convert it to regular springs instead because of the temperature changes that we have up in the snow belt here. what is involved in changing this over? would he have to buy new shocks when converting it over?? also the wiring caught fire in the trunk and melted the fuel pump wires. they were all replaced along with the pigtail for the fuel pump but now if the sending unit is plugged in, the fuel pump will not turn on and vice versa. any help would be appreciated
