Default Heater Core Replacement

So I tried To replace my heater core. but for some reason i could not get the dash out far enough to get to the heater core box. If anyone could tell me a easy way to get to the heater core that would be awsome. I really dont want to have to pay someone a lot of money to replace such a cheap part..and winter is here already its getting cold so i need some heat asap. thanks Rob

I dont know if you need to take the dash out on this model.[hr]Do you have a repair manual?[hr]If not pick one up at any major auto parts store they will give you step by step instruction's.[hr]If you lived closer mabey id look at it for you.[hr]Good luck.

If you have all the bolts out of the side of the dash panel, you can pull it up high enough to rpll the heater box out from under the dash. It will not come out straight. It needs to be rolled forward then pulled out.

I think the ones you are looking for are on the top of the heater/ac plenum across the top. There is one that is down inside the passenger fender well close to the blower motor. The side bolts on the dash are the big ones that hold dash to the frame. You also need to remove all small pieces under the dash so it will pull up high enough.

Should only be one on each side. Remove the plastic trim and you will see it.
