Rear door fixed glass replacement

Rear door fixed glass replacement
I have a 97 CV with the rear passenger door fixed glass broken out due to Auto theft. Luckily I got the car back and I am now repairing the broken items. I purchased a replacement glass from a used auto parts place. It came afixed to the door weather stripping for the fixed glass and the roll-up. I carefully extracted the glass and am ready to install. Anybody know any definite methods of success on my install of the new/old glass in its frame? Thanks in advance for any help.

yep I just did the same repair earlier today. after you remove the door panel, it slides up after removing two screws. one is under the window control which pops out. remove the 7/16th bolt from the window guide track and you can twist the guide a bit to allow you to slide the glass into the seal.
put the window down and remove all the old glass from inside the window seal slide the new window in from the inside and have the plastic quarter window stop toward the outside of the window just slide the window into place, position the plastic window guide under the quarter window and then pull the window down onto the guide... All done, Pretty easy
