STALLS WHEN HITTING BRAKE PEDAL AT IDLE
I GOT A USED 92 C/V (JUST NEEDED A STARTER ?) SO I INSTALL A NEW STARTER WHEN TO START IT UP STALLED WHEN I HIT THE
BRAKE PEDAL ( VEHICLE SAT FOR 5 MONTHS) BEFORE I HIT THEN BRAKE IT HAD A GRAT IDLE FOR 4-5 MINUTES TIL I HIT BRAKE
NOW WHEN I DONT HAVE KEY IN IGNITION THE RED BATTERY LIGHT IS ON( OH YEAH WHEN I PULL OUT HEAD LIGHTS NO HEAD
LIGHTS COME ON (NEW BATTERY IN CAR ) IM LOST LET IT SIT OVER NIGHT SAME THING TODAY ( IGNITION WAS LOOSE
CHANGED OUT WITH NEW CYLINDER (NEW TO FORDS ANY HELP??????) I LOVE THIS SITE LOTS OF INFO

Hey css.
I would look for a vacume leak. I would start by going under the hood then find the hose that goes to the brake booster. It will have the master cylinder mounted on it. remove the hose from the fitting on the booster and plug it up. Start the car then try the idle test. If it idles good, i would bet on a bad air leak in the booster. As for the battery light, i would look at a bad regulator or alternator. Hope this is of some help.
