Please don’t laugh. ‘95 Ford Windsor 5.8L…

…taken apart months ago for lower intake manifold leak repair and other hose replacements. Had help and some explanation— but not in-depth on a lot of these unrelated parts.

Got busy with school and whatnot so it has been sitting like this for months. Just resumed this endeavor after graduating, and it is so close to running.

I need some help identifying some of these parts for reassembly. This is how I am going about dissecting the things that are left for my referral— between asking the internet and comparing my pictures to ones in the manual diagrams.

Mainly confused/still searching about A, B, E, F, G, L, N, and O. Still sifting through manuals and diagrams, but if anyone has additional hints or recognizes any of these, please comment!

May eventually do some smog delete, at least the parts that don’t involve cutting and welding.

I have never taken apart an engine before or done anything to this extent. This $600 thing is for my learning, and I suppose it is serving it’s purpose. I’m no engineer nor mechanic, but I do know how a heart works and how to read diagrams if I can find them…?

‘95 Ford Econoline 150

*started off using an older manual, have been looking for a newer one because the older one looks a little different and is carbureted

*OLDER MANUAL

Needless to say I am really worried about putting the distributor back on… when I get there.

Welcome to the site.

Its been a while, but I know what most of your images are in referenced to.
First few images are intake manifold bolts. The double studs if memory serves support the upper intake as well as coil bracket etc.

Two, is the fuel pressure regulator.

Three, is the trans dip stick tube (it pulled out of the trans bore)

Four , is the EVAP solenoid (fuel vapor)

Five, is the heater core connection , temp sensor, and a bypass ( think to the throttle body)

Six, S/B the coil, and EVT, EVR control solenoids.

Seven, another view of above....

Eight... Coolant outlet

Nine... Coolant outlet, thermo housing

10.. trans dip stick extension

11... Looks like you repeat..

12.. EGR valve assembly. Broken on the bellows end. It would normally be extended and thread into the exhaust manifold.

Normally, they will be a vacuum hose routing chart on the underside of the hood that helps with the small hoses and combination connections..

Hope I had them in order. It would be easier if you started the assembly, and posted specific 'stopped' or ? Images.

I forgot the vacuum 'tree' or set of colored lines. If the vacuum routing chart is on the hood, it will explain/show the connection. If not, it's not hard to figure out as the assembly progresses.

I'll look and see what's available on Ford for assembly steps/illustration's.
The site is unavailable right now since they re did sign on requirements...
