'03 E150 master brake cylinder
I recently look my van in for an inspection and when I left I had lost practically all braking. They took another look and said it's probably the master bake cylinder. I'd rather pay for one on my own so they dont over charge me but I noticed theres one with and without cruise control. I have cruise control but I dont know if I can order one without it since the van doesnt brake as part of the cruise control. Any help would be great, thanks.

The addl port on a master cyl is for when you touch the brake pedal while cruise is active it cancels the cruise control , a safety feature, which should always be working.
There are a few special steps to perform when replacing a master cyl and if they are not done , you could require a scan tool to get the trapped air out of the anti-lock system. Make sure you know what you are getting into before opening that can of worms.
