I've been to several sites and can't find the fuse location for my AC clutch. The first time I tried to use the AC this year there was nothing. I am not getting power to the AC clutch. I see fuse locations for the AC clutch on other years but not specifically for the '99. Can anyone give some insight? I would also like a wiring diagram. Thanks.

 

There are a few reasons the clutch will not engage.
Some are, low refrigerant charge
Defective clutch assy
wiring problem
maybe A/C fuse /relay
defective pressure sw
The better way to go after this might be ti check the refrigerant charge in the system. If you have that then you can go after the things remaining that send power to the mag clutch.

 

What a brain fart. I've actually done work on a lot of auto AC's (I'm a licensed electrician and HVAC guy). The low pressure switch is always what I check first (except this time). This past winter I replaced my blower motor and had unplugged the AC low pressure in order to get something out of the way and did not plug it back in. Problem solved.
That being said I would still like to know which fuse the AC clutch is on and where I can find wiring diagrams for this vehicle.
