Unhappy 2006 E250: This pipe is wet and dripping

Hi all... can someone advise... what is this pipe/hose? And how do I stop the leak?

First,,,, the pipe appears to be part of the air conditioning system and will accumulate moisture under high humidity conditions ,,completely normal...

If you stop using the A/C or defrosters. that should not happen.
I say defrosters because some systems use the A/C to dry the air before blowing it on the windshield.

That moisture dries pretty quick from the heat in the engine compartment. Something you might look for,, any exposed wiring that can become corroded from that excess moisture. Most times not any cause for concern.
