Don't know if this will help any, but I always thought that windchill applied to everything outside, but that supposedly is not the case.
If it's +10 degrees outside and wind chill is -20 , that -20 applies only to how we feel and not to the other things outside. To them it's still +10 degrees. AND the ign is still hard to turn.

 

it still makes the ole bones ache something awfull

 

Just the thought of it, causes a headache!

 

Calling for -25 to -30 wind chill for the next three days. Guess what van is not getting worked on?

Woke up with 6" of snow and still snowing. 30 mph winds and supposed to hit -5 f tonight with -30 wind chills.

 

jeez that's cold. and I wouldn't try it either.

 

-9 with -24 wc, just crazy
