88' E-150 Pathfinder Edition Conversion Project
My wife and I are converting a Pathfinder Edition 88' E-150 van into an adventure camper. Recently updated the front suspension and steering system along with some general upkeep and maintenance.
Pulled the back seat (which is in perfect condition!!!), gutted the back and insulated it with solid foam sheeting insulation.
Scheduled it next week to have it wired up with two 6V batteries, a solar panel for the roof, and an inverter system that will recharge off of the alternator when running, and plugs into normal 110 when stationary. Some odds and ends accessories going into it at the same time (led lights etc).
Question is, we will be doing the paneling and build out on the interior on our own as a fun project. Ive been able to find some great designs and approaches online with sprinters and other models, but Im there are people on here that have done this or something similar themselves.
Any tips or suggestions on the project? Any aspect. Feedback or suggestions welcome!
Thanks!

I am wondering why you chose (2) 6 volt batteries. Unless there is some specific reason , I believe you would do better with two 12 volt batteries. This is why I believe that would be better.
If you have two 6 volt batteries connected in series to get 12 volts you have the potential for one cell in either of the batteries going bad and lose all power for anything that requires 12 volts including starting the vehicle.
If either battery in a 12 volt set-up(connected in parallel) has a bad cell you will still have 12 volt power to operate just not for as long.
