Default 94 E150 Blows cold air, no heat

I have a 94 E150 with dual heaters. I don't get any heat from either heater. I have replaced the thernostat even though the old one tested OK. The front core has been flushed and has good flow. I'm thinking that a heat control valve may be closed. Is this possible on this vehicle and how do I bypass it?

Theres a legal way to not have a recall on the issue your experencing. Its called updating the parts. You see ford couldn't propperly design a blend box and blend box door that wouldnt warp and get stuck when you turned off the heat. They have now,but you have to buy the "updated parts" and pay a large, and i do mean large sum of money to get it replaced.Seems you'll have to fully remove your entire dash to replace the parts.I just got off the phone with ford and they said ,"because I have the same issue with my 98 e-250,Replaced the thermo. and heatercore and vacuum controls. Both lines are hot so i took it into the dealer and was told of this issue." We're screwed.Plain and simple. My quote is $1100.00 in labor ,$150.00 in parts.Ford won't take a penny of the charges off due to there design flaw.Oh sorry I mean updated parts.

Thanks for the reply. I figured I was screwed when I didn't get any answers. The last resort was to take off the dash, but now I guess that's what I will have to do.

Didyou find any diagrams or info on the blend box or how to remove the dash? I can figure it out as I go, but it is sure nice to know what to do (and not to do) before hand.

Have you felt the in and out water lines to see if there hot?If there not you might not have any water going throw the core.If they are but still noheat you can try this.AT YOUR OWN RISK OF DAMAGING PARTS.Iwas able to rig my heater up by doing the following:you might not want to do this.I removed enough of my dash to get my heatercore cover off.I then took some superglue (just a drop) and glued my blend box door closed so the air must pass my core before being distrubed throw the heating ducts.I now have heat and my wallet still has my money in it.funny Thing is I have a '83 E-100 that the blend box/door works perfectly,to bad its vacuum now instead of the old cable method. Not to metion it only took me less than 2 hrs to replace a heater core in it.Good luck on the heater

One of the hoses is hot and the other is barely warm. Does that mean the coolant is flowing through the heater core and getting cooled or does that mean the coolant is not flowing at all?

I don't see any valves between the engine and the heater core. Is there any where specific that I should look?
