Default RE: any body got a match?

It has been our experience that a "coil pack" causes this problem. Each cylinder / plug has it's own coil pack and when it goes bad that plug only fires intermittently. Especially when going uphill or under acceleration. We take our fleet vans to the Ford dealership for repair so I don't know what is involved in doing it yourself. About a $200 repair each time it happens. The tech at our dealership told me to only have bad ones replaced as some coil packs last a long time and others do not and there is no way to gauge how long a working coil pack will last. Hope this helps!
